Juicy, ripe cherries are a true summer highlight. They don’t stick around very long, so make the most of this seasonal treasure in our delicious cherry recipes.
Cherries have a short season, typically from late June until early August. Keep an eye out for them in supermarkets, at farmers’ markets and at roadside stalls in cherry-growing areas like Kent. Once you’ve tracked down a few punnets of glossy cherries, have a go at making some of the recipes below.
